Q: How do I set up an account in-game?
A: This feature does not work anymore in 2.11. The original person who was helping to support it is no longer supporting it anymore. This may change in the near future, but we don't really know.

Q: If it is no longer supported, how do I play?
A: You can still play, it was mainly used for a friends system and an automated ladder, which never really got up off the ground.

Q: Is the in-game account seperate from the forum account?
A: Yes

Controls

Q: How can I change my weapon?
A: Hit the "Menu" key (Default: "ESC") and select a weapon on the right hand side. You will get this weapon the next time you spawn.

Q: How can I pick up weapons from the floor?
A: Roll on top of a weapon and hit the "Use" key (Default: "F").

Q: How can I see the scores and teams in the game?
A: Hold the "Show score board" key (Default: "TAB").

Q: How can I switch teams?
A: Hit the "Menu" key (Default: "ESC") and select a team on the left hand side. Note that it is frowned upon to switch to the larger/winning team; try to make fair teams and you will have more fun even if you lose.

Q: How can I put colors in my nickname or in my messages?
A: Hit the ^ key on your keyboard followed by a number [1 to 9]. Here are all the possible colors:

^1 = Blue

^2 = Green

^3 = Aqua

^4 = Red

^5 = Violet

^6 = Orange

^7 = Grey

^8 = White

^9 = Yellow

Q: How can I put flag icons in my nickname or in my messages?
A: Hit the { or } key on your keyboard to put in an icon of the blue or red flag respectively.

Q: How does the radar work?
A: Enemies appear on the radar only when they fire a weapon. The home flag disappears from the radar when an enemy is carrying it.

Q: How do I score in CTF mode?
A: You need both flags at your home base to score. The enemy flag must be captured from the enemy base and carried home. The home flag must be protected against enemies and stay at the base or brought back by killing the carrier and touching the flag.


Server options

Q: How can I open the console?
A: Hit the key between the "TAB" and the "ESC" key. Depending on the keyboard layout, this is often the "~" or "?" key.

Q: How can I toggle to a 3D view in the game?
A: Open the console and type "set sv_topView false" (server only, client will switch to this view also).

Q: How can I kick a player from the game I'm hosting?
A: Open the console and type "kick" followed by the players name. (Note: There is a bug that sometimes prevents this from working. It will be fixed in the next version. You can try to ban him using a firewall.)

Q: How can I change map?
A: Open the console and type "changemap" followed by the maps name.


Technical problems

Q: The game doesn't start, shows strange symbols, runs extremely slow or crashes. What should I do?
A: The first thing you should try is to update the drivers for your video card. If you don't know what video card you are using, click "Start" -> "Run", type "dxdiag" and answer NO if a box pops up. At the top you'll see a tab called "Display", click it and you can read it there. If you need more help post in the forum.

Q: Why aren't my friends able to join my game?
A: You have to forward the game's port on your router and firewall. The default port is: 3333 for UDP and TCP.

Q: I found a bug, where can I report it?
A: Post it on the official North American Forums. There is a section for bug reporting. (see trouble shooting)

Q: A cheater ruined my game! What can I do?
A: This shouldn't be possible anymore. Ask in the forum.
